Base Salary
$150k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own internal tools end to end, from identifying problems through architecture, development, rollout, and post-launch fixes.
- Build AI-powered internal systems involving document parsing, analysis, agentic workflows, automated research, and routing.
- Partner with leaders in Proposals, Customer Ops, Sales, Design, and Engineering to scope and solve operational problems.
- Drive company-wide AI enablement and help employees use AI tools effectively.
- Support the external analytics layer of Kaizen’s platform.
- Back up the deployment team during implementations.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of engineering, data, or applied AI experience, or equivalent work demonstrating relevant capability.
- A shipped end-to-end internal application, automation, or tool that a team continues to use.
- Demonstrated fluency shipping AI tools and understanding their limitations and failure modes.
- Strong SQL skills and sufficient data-modeling knowledge to work in an existing warehouse and create data models when needed.
- Ability to translate vague problems from non-technical stakeholders into appropriately scoped solutions.
- Preferred experience includes internal tooling adoption at scale, forward-deployed or solutions engineering, deep familiarity with N8N or Zapier, and work in government, healthcare, or other high-consequence environments.
