Base Salary
$180k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development of innovative iOS features, including personalized feeds, custom UIs, and AI- and media-driven capabilities
- Build and optimize video and audio pipelines, real-time media effects, and AI-powered visual features
- Participate in architecture meetings and help maintain high app quality standards
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and QA teams to deliver polished, scalable experiences
- Own features from development through delivery for an application with a large user base
- Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and company leadership to influence product direction
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience developing iOS applications, or equivalent education
- Fluency in Swift, UIKit, and Objective-C, with a strong foundation in custom graphics and animation frameworks
- Ability to write readable, maintainable, documented, and thoroughly tested code
- Experience developing integrations with APIs
- Proficiency with Git and version-control workflows
- Basic understanding of Figma, including spacing, sizing, icon export, and variables
- Experience with video editing, real-time media effects, or AI-driven media features is preferred
- Ability to translate Product, UX, and UI requirements into code
- Ability to evaluate and communicate engineering solutions and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to create scalable, reusable, flexible, and modular components
- Strong attention to detail, motion, and animation
