Responsibilities
- Build and maintain modules that forward alarms and other security events from Reconeyez Cloud to third-party ARC, VMS, and PSIM platforms.
- Develop a reliable, real-time alarm-forwarding pipeline and extend integration APIs for new third-party connections.
- Automate integration workflows to reduce manual setup and improve deployment scalability.
- Containerize and deploy integration services, and monitor and troubleshoot live integrations across system boundaries.
- Own integration quality through testing, monitoring, error handling, continuous improvement, and architecture contributions.
Requirements
- Related technical education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
- Two to five-plus years of relevant engineering experience, with strong depth in Go and integration patterns.
- Experience with Go, Rust, C++, or another compiled programming language.
- Experience with containerized deployments, event-driven architectures, message or alarm forwarding patterns, and third-party API integrations.
- Awareness of secure development principles and strong attention to error handling, edge cases, and data integrity.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Genetec or similar video management systems; ONVIF, SIA DC-09, or SurGard; NATS and Protobuf; application and transport layer protocols; embedded or IoT systems; and Java.
