Responsibilities
- Assist internal teams with configuration validation in support of sales opportunities.
- Collect and acquire data for sales plays and lifecycle management programs.
- Provide customers with product performance solutions using established programs and sizing tools.
- Participate in the Account Planning process as part of a larger team.
- Assist with solution designs and take lead on simple designs.
- Support prospects and customers with demonstrations, system configurations, and technical questions.
- Work cross-functionally with departments like Customer Support and Sales Operations.
- Drive technical account management for seamless implementation and ongoing support.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in the technology industry preferred.
- Strong phone presence and experience in high-volume customer interactions.
- Conscientious attitude with strengths in teamwork and communication.
- Confident and articulate speaking abilities with strong listening skills.
- Ability to collect data, identify problems, and draw valid conclusions.
- Experience in preparing and delivering technical product presentations.
- Passion for technology and aptitude for learning new technologies.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and proactively.
- Demonstrated listening, written communication, and product presentation skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects in real-time scenarios.
- Knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures preferred.
- Salesforce.com experience is helpful.
- Knowledge of VMware, Windows, UNIX OS variants, and NFS file systems is helpful.
