Associate System Engineer, SE Excellence Center - ANZ
Pure StorageResponsibilities
- Assist internal teams with configuration validation for sales opportunities.
- Collect data for sales plays and customer lifecycle management programs and processes.
- Use established programs and sizing tools to develop product performance solutions and support customer pursuits.
- Participate in account planning as part of a larger team.
- Assist with solution designs and lead simple designs.
- Support prospects and customers with demonstrations, system configurations, feature adoption, and technical questions.
- Work cross-functionally with Customer Support, Professional Services, Renewal, Sales Operations, and Order Management.
- Support pre-sales and post-sales activities to optimize customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Drive technical account management for seamless implementation and ongoing support of Everpure solutions.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or another technical field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of experience, preferably in the technology industry.
- Experience in high-volume customer interaction environments with strong phone presence.
- Ability to prepare and deliver technical product and architecture presentations.
- Strong listening, written communication, product presentation, teamwork, and professional speaking skills.
- Ability to collect data, identify problems, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and manage multiple tasks in real-time.
- Ability to learn new technologies and work independently and proactively with strong business and technical judgment.
- Preferred knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
- Salesforce.com experience is helpful.
- Knowledge of VMware, Windows, UNIX operating system variants including Linux and AIX, NFS file systems, and network environments is helpful.
