Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and modify complex technology solutions and multi-tier applications within the Vehicle Solutions domain.
- Lead technical implementation, provide recommendations for new solutions, and lead a technical development team.
- Design, modify, and develop complex code independently across teams while ensuring code performance and standards.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and software requirements analysis.
- Use SQL for data definition changes, production and QA support updates, and report generation.
- Deploy applications using Tomcat and WebLogic.
- Document analysis and design details and track project development using JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
- Use source control tools to manage development progress, pull requests, releases, and release builds.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less senior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in an information technology or related field.
- Professional experience designing and implementing multi-tier applications using the Java Spring framework.
- Professional experience using SQL for data definition, data updates, production and QA support, and reporting.
- Professional experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar documentation and project-tracking tools.
- Professional experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Professional experience using BitBucket and Git for source control, pull requests, release tagging, and release builds.
- Professional experience deploying applications with Tomcat and WebLogic.
- Professional experience leading a technical development team.
