Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and deliver backend capabilities for search and AI retrieval workloads in Azure.
- Own technical designs through production deployment and operation.
- Improve service quality through monitoring, diagnostics, incident response, root-cause analysis, automation, and live-site tooling.
- Engage with customers to understand scenarios and resolve issues.
- Develop expertise in Azure provisioning and service management.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience designing, developing, testing, and operating production software.
- Experience developing production software in C#, C++, Java, or another object-oriented programming language.
- Experience building and shipping production-grade cloud services, including telemetry and monitoring solutions.
- Strong understanding of operating systems, networking, concurrency, storage, algorithms, data structures, cloud platforms, and distributed systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with scripting, automation, or SQL is advantageous.
- Experience with Lucene, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, and the full ELK stack is preferred.
- Experience building systems on a large cloud platform and coordinating resources across teams to restore service and maintain SLAs is preferred.
