Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design scalable and resilient Spring Boot microservices and Java-based commerce solutions.
- Guide end-to-end backend architecture and frontend integrations for enterprise commerce flows.
- Define microservice decomposition, service contracts, data flows, architecture standards, and integration patterns.
- Review application designs and code for alignment with architectural best practices, security guidelines, and enterprise technology strategy.
- Translate commerce requirements into technical architectures supporting performance, reliability, and customer experience.
- Drive coding patterns, testing strategies, observability practices, monitoring, and operational improvements.
- Partner with infrastructure and platform teams on deployment pipelines, environments, and resource utilization.
- Evaluate Java ecosystem tools, frameworks, and architectural patterns to improve developer productivity and reduce technology risk.
- Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and reference implementations to engineering teams.
- Analyze performance and reliability metrics, identify bottlenecks, and support system optimization.
- Document architectural decisions and non-functional requirements.
- Support incident analysis and root cause investigations for business-critical commerce systems.
Requirements
- Advanced expertise designing and implementing Spring Boot microservices for high-volume transactions and complex enterprise requirements.
- Strong proficiency in Java-based full stack engineering for commerce platforms, including backend services, integration patterns, and modern web application technologies.
- Extensive experience with API design, RESTful services, and data modeling for scalable distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with testing frameworks, build tools, CI/CD practices, and version control systems.
- Strong knowledge of performance tuning, caching, asynchronous processing, and application scalability.
- Understanding of security best practices, authentication, authorization, and data protection for customer-facing applications.
- Experience with containerized deployments and cloud-ready enterprise architectures.
- Preferred qualifications include enterprise architecture standards and governance, technical team leadership, cross-group architectural influence, observability and monitoring, business requirements translation, and evaluation of modern Java frameworks and tools.
