Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Shadow domain experts across departments to identify workflows, bottlenecks, and opportunities for AI automation.
- Design and ship MVPs, custom scripts, API integrations, and managed AI agents.
- Define success metrics with stakeholders, track adoption and ROI, and prioritize work based on feasibility, risk, and business value.
- Design, build, evaluate, and operate reliable AI workflows with evaluation frameworks, guardrails, observability, and feedback loops.
- Help non-technical teams evaluate and configure AI features in their existing SaaS tools.
- Mentor peers, create reusable documentation and training, and demonstrate emerging AI capabilities.
- Develop hosted and local AI harnesses using problems, prototypes, and workflows identified with business departments.
- Benchmark model performance, optimize prompt and token usage, manage API latency, and monitor operating costs.
- Promote compliance with company policies for data privacy, security, and ethical AI use.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Go or JavaScript, ideally both, along with standard engineering practices including version control and testing.
- Hands-on experience building or contributing to applications using Large Language Models or managing complex AI-tool workflows.
- Deep understanding of larger AI-powered projects, including agent design, skills, context, and memory.
- Experience working with APIs and MCPs for company platforms such as Jira, GitHub, or Salesforce.
- Ability to explain machine learning and engineering concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze business operations, translate ambiguous problems into technical requirements, and prioritize solutions based on ROI.
- Comfort working autonomously within non-technical departments and building trust as a collaborative peer.
- High emotional intelligence and strong cross-functional communication skills.
