Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and scale production AI applications, copilots, retrieval systems, and agentic workflows.
- Translate client business problems into scalable technical solutions and build backend services, APIs, and application architectures.
- Develop multi-agent systems, AI agents, workflow automation, and decision-support systems.
- Deploy and operate containerized applications on Kubernetes, including scaling, service networking, resource management, and production monitoring.
- Integrate AI systems with enterprise data platforms, APIs, databases, messaging systems, and business applications.
- Implement security, observability, monitoring, evaluation, governance, and production deployment practices.
- Collaborate with client engineering, data, product, architecture, security, and business stakeholders.
- Contribute reusable accelerators, frameworks, technical assets, and thought leadership to the AI Engineering practice.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience building production applications.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and deploying AI or machine learning solutions into production.
- Strong programming experience with Python, Java, C#, Go, TypeScript, or similar languages.
- Experience building scalable backend systems, APIs, or distributed applications and developing AI applications with modern LLMs, machine learning models, or intelligent automation.
- Experience with online and offline evaluation, observability, context engineering, guardrails, AI governance, MLOps, LLMOps, and production deployment pipelines.
- Understanding of software engineering principles including testing, version control, CI/CD, code reviews, and system design.
- Experience with Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Google Antigravity, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or comparable coding harnesses.
- Experience integrating AI applications with enterprise data sources, APIs, and business systems.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar cloud technologies.
- Experience deploying applications with containers, Kubernetes, serverless platforms, or similar cloud-native technologies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to independently own technical workstreams while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
- Preferred qualifications include production API development with FastAPI, Flask, Spring Boot, .NET, or Express; multi-agent systems; semantic search; vector databases; knowledge graph retrieval; distributed systems; high-scale cloud applications; 1,000-plus-user AI deployments; consulting or enterprise customer experience; data pipelines; and LLM pre-training or fine-tuning.
