Responsibilities
- Maintain the upstream arm64 Linux port and internal Linux code lines.
- Integrate new features and maintain them for internal and external use.
- Improve Linux kernel and KVM on arm64 quality and monitor test systems.
- Develop, upstream, and maintain tests to validate features and improve coverage.
- Investigate internal and external test failures.
- Support hardware platform bring-up teams by debugging issues and supporting Linux kernel and KVM changes.
- Follow and support KernelCI community and linux-next maintenance needs.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient C programming skills.
- Experience maintaining internal Linux code lines.
- Experience debugging issues across various Linux subsystems.
- Familiarity with Python scripting and automation.
- Ability and desire to work as part of a team.
- Preferred: experience with Armv8-A architecture, arm64 assembly language, Linux memory management and virtualization, and submitting patches to Linux mailing lists and reviews.
