Base Salary
$171k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of agentic AI and large language model-powered use cases from technical design through production deployment and monitoring.
- Own reusable platform services and components for building, evaluating, and operating AI agents safely at scale.
- Set engineering standards through system design, code reviews, mentorship, documentation, and reference implementations.
- Build evaluation, testing, tracing, metrics, logging, analytics, and observability capabilities to improve solution quality.
- Implement safety, governance, guardrail, access-control, and audit-readiness practices for enterprise AI systems.
- Partner with product managers and stakeholders on roadmaps, success metrics, prioritization, and measurable business outcomes.
- Coordinate with engineering, data, security, and risk teams to deliver secure, stable, and scalable solutions.
- Create enablement content that accelerates responsible platform adoption.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in applied artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts.
- At least 5 years of applied experience.
- Advanced Python proficiency and strong software engineering fundamentals, including testing, design patterns, version control, and code review.
- Hands-on experience building, evaluating, and deploying machine learning or large language model-enabled systems in production.
- Practical experience with prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation methods, and quality measurement.
- Experience designing and operating reliable data-intensive services, including incident response readiness, performance tuning, and operational stability.
- Ability to lead technical decisions and deliver outcomes amid ambiguity while balancing speed, risk, and maintainability.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Google ADK, custom agent orchestration, and large language model evaluation tooling.
- Preferred experience with continuous integration and delivery, Docker, Kubernetes, vector databases, embedding pipelines, graph-based memory, Amazon Web Services, Databricks, AI governance, validation, or guardrail frameworks.
