Responsibilities
- Represent a product family in technical governance bodies and recommend improvements to architecture governance practices.
- Provide technical guidance to engineering teams, contractors, vendors, and decision-makers across the organization.
- Architect and build custom agentic AI systems for employee experience, workflow automation, knowledge discovery, and service operations.
- Develop secure, high-quality production code; review and debug code written by others.
- Establish reusable AI-enabled engineering patterns and governance across SDLC and toolchain practices, including traceability, auditability, resiliency, and security controls.
- Design prototypes, reference implementations, reusable patterns, and evaluation harnesses to move agentic AI capabilities safely from concept to production.
- Implement AI and agentic solution patterns in public-cloud environments with attention to APIs, data access, deployment automation, observability, resilience, and operational support.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and influence product design, application functionality, technical operations, and future-state architecture.
- Contribute to architecture communities, mentor engineers and architects, and communicate complex AI architecture tradeoffs to technical and leadership stakeholders.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in architecture concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages and deep expertise in software architecture, applications, and technical processes.
- Experience applying enterprise-authorized AI capabilities in architecture and engineering workflows with strong validation practices and awareness of data sensitivity.
- Ability to integrate AI-enabled capabilities into enterprise architectures while meeting resiliency, security, and auditability requirements.
- Hands-on experience architecting and building custom agentic systems involving tool use, orchestration, memory, planning, autonomy boundaries, human-in-the-loop controls, and evaluation.
- Practical experience implementing AI, data, integration, or agentic solutions in public-cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, RAG, embeddings, model selection, prompt design, multi-model orchestration, and responsible generative AI use.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Copilot, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Oracle HCM, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or similar vendor platforms.
- Preferred experience in regulated enterprise environments and familiarity with security, SaaS integration, AI governance, responsible AI, model risk, and control frameworks.
- Preferred exposure to MCP, A2A, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar agentic AI protocols and frameworks.
- Strong written architecture documentation, communication, mentoring, and technical influence skills.
