Responsibilities
- Architect and scale backend systems supporting high-throughput LLM interactions, vector search, and multi-agent orchestration.
- Integrate model providers, data stores, and internal systems into cohesive and performant AI infrastructure.
- Own the architecture of internal data systems, pipelines, APIs, and the internal data platform.
- Build automation and integrations across product, CRM, financial, and operational systems.
- Create customer health intelligence pipelines, alerts, and signals for churn risk, usage drops, and product issues.
- Build tooling that processes user feedback and uses LLMs to extract themes, cluster feature requests, and surface product insights.
- Design billing and revenue systems supporting usage-based, seat-based, and platform fees, including invoicing, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Help shape engineering culture and internal infrastructure decisions.
Requirements
- Approximately four or more years of backend engineering experience.
- Based in London and willing to work from the Farringdon office five days per week.
- Experience owning technical projects end-to-end, from architecture through production.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL and modern data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, or Firebolt.
- Production coding experience in Python or TypeScript.
- Ability to translate business problems into clean technical systems and automation.
- Experience working in fast-moving startup environments while maintaining strong engineering standards.
- Experience building AI-enabled workflows, automation systems, or internal developer platforms is a bonus.
