Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain data services and pipelines using Python.
Manage AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and IAM, for deployment and hosting.
Collaborate with data scientists to bring models and tools into production.
Ensure software quality through automated testing and code reviews.
Maintain production-ready, maintainable software and contribute to development process improvements.
Occasionally contribute to frontend components and participate in pair or mob programming.

At least 3 years of experience in software or data engineering.
Strong Python skills focused on clean, testable, production-ready code.
Experience with AWS or a comparable IaaS/PaaS cloud platform.
Working knowledge of Git-based version control, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data pipelines, orchestration tools, and Kafka is preferred.
Basic BI tools experience is a plus.
Experience collaborating with data scientists and analysts and exposure to ML/data science workflows are preferred.
Frontend experience with Angular, React, or similar JavaScript frameworks is a plus.
Fluent written and spoken English, strong communication skills, openness to feedback, and ability to work in an Agile, self-organized team.
