Base Salary
$180k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with founders and go-to-market leaders to define the roadmap and deliver user value.
- Lead the design and development of full-stack features for web and mobile applications.
- Balance speed, scope, maintainability, and long-term scalability.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance to other engineers.
- Collaborate with go-to-market leaders and designers to create intuitive and reliable user experiences.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in startups or scaleups.
- Proven ability to ship impactful features across the full stack.
- Strong technical judgment around optimization, scope, refactoring, and maintainability.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to be based in or relocate to Chicago.
- Experience building React Native mobile applications is preferred.
- Marketplace, fintech, or consumer-facing product experience is a bonus.
