Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery workshops and translate federal mission needs into scoped proof-of-value engagements with measurable success criteria.
- Architect and deploy the HiddenLayer platform in SaaS, cloud, on-premises, and fully disconnected or airgapped environments.
- Package container images, Helm charts, and artifacts for restricted networks and administer Kubernetes-based deployments.
- Build proof-of-concept AI applications and integrate HiddenLayer SDKs and APIs for model scanning, runtime detection, and response.
- Advise customers on securing models, AI applications, data pipelines, and supporting infrastructure using relevant AI security frameworks.
- Deliver demonstrations, architecture sessions, written evaluation reports, reference architectures, integration guides, and executive briefings.
- Support onboarding, troubleshooting, initial deployments, conferences, webinars, and feedback to Product, Research, and Engineering.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in solutions architecture, solutions engineering, applied AI engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Direct experience supporting federal customers across the Intelligence Community, DoD/DoW, DHS, or civilian agencies.
- Hands-on AI development experience with fluency in Python and familiarity with model formats, inference, LLM APIs, retrieval, agentic patterns, PyTorch, Hugging Face, and ONNX.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, private registries, and moving images and artifacts into restricted or disconnected environments.
- Understanding of MLOps, CI/CD, AI security, adversarial machine learning, and common AI attack classes.
- Strong presentation and communication skills for live demonstrations, whiteboarding, conference talks, and executive briefings.
- Active Top Secret clearance or TS eligibility is strongly preferred.
- Preferred qualifications include production AI/ML security experience, classified-environment experience, familiarity with SafeTensors, GGUF, and pickle serialization, LLM red-teaming, relevant Kubernetes/AWS/Azure/CISSP/Security+ certifications, and public technical work.
