Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and communicate application architecture and application-level roadmaps.
- Design, document, develop, and govern frameworks and platforms for the technical delivery organization.
- Create and evolve application architecture strategy in alignment with enterprise architecture.
- Govern architectural trends, best practices, design leadership, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
- Conduct product and solution evaluations within the architectural domain.
- Define and deliver solutions against strategic IT roadmaps while understanding business requirements.
- Support architecture considerations for security, performance, availability, environment configuration, cloud, and data infrastructure.
- Mentor technical delivery staff and provide thought leadership on evolving technology products and delivery approaches.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience.
- Experience with Agile architecture delivery practices, tools, and execution.
- Experience with consumer, retail, commercial, branch, and digital banking environments.
- Experience with banking data models and financial services or fintech systems.
- Experience with SDLC, waterfall and agile delivery, DevOps, CI/CD, data solution testing, cloud, and data infrastructure.
- Understanding of security, performance, availability, and environment configuration.
- Ability to plan, scope, estimate, and deliver quality solutions on time and on budget.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to peers and leadership.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple priorities, solve problems, and operate independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to provide thought leadership involving cloud platforms and services, advanced analytics, data science, and machine learning/artificial intelligence.
