Base Salary
$120k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications spanning frontend UI, backend services, APIs, and databases.
- Develop RESTful APIs, gRPC and Thrift integrations, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Participate in architecture reviews, technical design discussions, code reviews, automated testing, security, observability, and CI/CD practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve software reliability, performance, and user experience.
- Contribute to AWS cloud infrastructure and deployment automation.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and collaborate with product managers, architects, and designers.
- Communicate technical decisions, risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders and team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience, plus 5+ years of hands-on production-grade full-stack experience.
- Strong ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, hooks, and reusable UI component experience.
- Backend development experience with at least two of Go, Java, Python, and Node.js, including APIs, services, and integrations.
- Knowledge of system design, distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Aurora, RDS, MongoDB, DocumentDB, DynamoDB, and Redis or similar databases.
- Hands-on AWS experience, including ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and CloudWatch.
- Experience with Docker, CircleCI, Terraform, modern DevOps practices, and unit, integration, and UI testing using tools such as Jest and Cypress.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum and distributed, cross-time-zone teams with strong ownership and communication skills.
- Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence.
- Preferred qualifications include Elasticsearch, Thrift or similar RPC frameworks, monorepos, Bazel, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, shared UI component libraries, enterprise design systems, Kafka, AWS EventBridge, and real estate technology, marketplace, or customer-facing SaaS experience.
- Familiarity with Gemini, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot is preferred.
