Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and decision-making for large projects impacting SingleStore’s cloud platform.
- Design and implement new capabilities across networking and managed service infrastructure.
- Solve complex, mission-critical system problems with scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Management to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Investigate and resolve issues in production and development environments.
- Communicate technical decisions and their impact on performance and reliability.
- Mentor engineers on system design and coding standards.
- Participate in customer POCs and technical engagements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support product delivery and customer success.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience developing and debugging system-level software in Golang or similar language.
- Familiarity with distributed systems managed via Kubernetes.
- Ability to design and build highly reliable, high-performance system software.
- Experience in environments where performance, scalability, and reliability are critical.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
