Responsibilities
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and expectations.
- Translate business requirements into well-architected Salesforce solutions and identify opportunities for Agentforce capabilities.
- Design and integrate scalable predictive and generative AI solutions within custom Salesforce environments.
- Lead technical design sessions, document architectures, identify gaps between current and desired states, and evaluate architectural assumptions.
- Provide technical oversight and governance for Salesforce projects, custom development, integrations, and data migrations.
- Define coding standards, lead code reviews, and optimize code quality and performance using AI coding assistants.
- Develop frameworks to evaluate AI performance, system scalability, and business ROI.
- Debug system issues, interpret logs, isolate performance bottlenecks, and support Salesforce product teams.
- Participate in occasional pre-sales discovery, technical deep dives, and proof-of-concept development.
- Maintain target billable utilization and travel to client sites as required.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent proven experience is required, with experience evaluated across work, military, volunteer, extracurricular leadership, or other relevant backgrounds.
- 9–14 years of CRM experience, including a minimum of 6 years on the Salesforce platform.
- Expert knowledge of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Community, and Marketing Clouds, plus Agentforce architecture.
- Experience designing scalable, performance-driven systems and understanding platform limits, design patterns, data sharing, visibility, and large-data-volume best practices.
- Knowledge of authentication patterns including SAML, SSO, and OAuth, along with Salesforce security capabilities such as TLS and SSL.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with business systems using ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting, and REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning, and deployment methodologies.
- Practical fluency with AI coding assistants and modern development ecosystems, including GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude.
- Expertise defining system architecture landscapes, identifying gaps, and delivering solutions aligned with business outcomes.
- Strong background in designing and developing large web-based systems or exposure to the complete software product lifecycle.
- Active Salesforce certifications or ability to obtain relevant certifications after hire.
