Responsibilities
- Create sample applications, SDKs, and reference implementations demonstrating best practices.
- Produce tutorials, how-to guides, blog posts, short demos, and other developer-facing content.
- Provide technical support and issue triage for partners and customers integrating Autodesk Platform Services APIs.
- Reproduce integration issues and coordinate fixes with engineering teams.
- Influence API design and improve developer experience, runbooks, and onboarding flows with product and engineering teams.
- Develop reference implementations and example code for Model Context Protocol servers and clients.
- Use generative AI tools to accelerate prototypes, sample generation, and documentation while maintaining output quality and security.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering or developer-facing experience in web, cloud, or native environments.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SDKs, and modern web or cloud stacks, including the ability to produce clean, tested sample code.
- Strong understanding of authentication and authorization patterns, including OAuth2 flows and service accounts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfort presenting to technical audiences.
- Developer advocacy, developer support, or partner-facing engineering experience is preferred.
- Experience with Autodesk Platform Services, Forge, or Autodesk product APIs such as Revit, ACC/BIM Automation, or Fusion is preferred.
- Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Python, .NET, Docker, and cloud deployment patterns is preferred.
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol server/client patterns or agentic AI integration concepts is preferred.
