Responsibilities
- Configure and develop Data 360 implementations in customer sandboxes and production using SQL, Apex, Flow, Python, APIs, SDKs, Salesforce DX, CLI, Git, Data Kits, and deployment tooling.
- Build ingestion, harmonization, identity-resolution, integration, and data-activation solutions across batch and streaming sources.
- Create test data and validate happy paths, edge cases, security boundaries, failures, hierarchy behavior, and customer-scale volumes.
- Build AI data integration layers using RAG, vector databases, search indexes, embedding pipelines, and knowledge bases to ground Agentforce solutions.
- Implement MCP and agent-to-agent communication protocols and connect Agentforce with enterprise applications.
- Apply data governance, secure authentication and authorization, OAuth, SAML, message queues, event-driven architecture, and distributed-systems practices.
- Troubleshoot ingestion, schema, identity, query, API, permissions, latency, and consumption issues using logs and query evidence.
- Co-build with customers and partners, package reusable metadata, scripts, queries, tests, and runbooks, and support deployment, handoff, and stabilization.
- Document implementation tradeoffs and surface reproducible platform gaps and edge cases to Product and Support.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or technical implementation, including production data solution experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on Salesforce Data 360/Data Cloud or comparable enterprise data platform implementation experience across ingestion, modeling, identity, insights, activation, and operations.
- Experience building data pipelines and integrations with technologies or platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Kafka, cloud object storage, or enterprise MDM platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL and fluency in at least one of Apex, Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Understanding of data modeling, APIs, integration patterns, batch and streaming processing, and copied, federated, and Zero Copy data access.
- Experience building retrieval systems involving vector databases, search indexes, embedding pipelines, or knowledge bases.
- Experience implementing OAuth, SAML, event-driven integrations, secure data access, permissions, entitlements, consent, user context, and negative test cases.
- Ability to diagnose technical problems methodically, implement against documented architectures, and communicate with customer technical teams.
- Experience delivering alongside customers, partners, professional services, or internal implementation teams in deadline-driven environments.
- Relevant Salesforce Agentforce, Data 360, and Salesforce Platform certifications are preferred or relevant.
