Responsibilities
- Build and deploy Data 360 implementations in customer sandboxes and production environments using configuration, SQL, Apex, Flow, Python, APIs, Salesforce DX, Git, Data Kits, and deployment tooling.
- Build ingestion, harmonization, identity resolution, data views, and integrations across batch and streaming data sources.
- Create representative test data and validate happy paths, edge cases, access boundaries, failures, and customer-scale behavior.
- Build AI data integration layers involving RAG, vector databases, search indexes, knowledge bases, MCP, and agent-to-agent communication.
- Implement secure, scalable data integration and event-driven workflows using authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth and SAML.
- Troubleshoot ingestion, mapping, schema, identity, query, latency, API, permissions, and consumption issues using logs and query evidence.
- Document implementation decisions, measured tradeoffs, reusable assets, tests, runbooks, handoff materials, platform gaps, and edge cases.
- Collaborate with architects, customer technical teams, partners, product, support, and delivery teams through implementation, production handoff, and stabilization.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or technical implementation, including a production data solution that can be explained in detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Data 360/Data Cloud or a comparable enterprise data platform across ingestion, modeling, identity, insights, activation, and operations.
- Hands-on experience building data pipelines and integrations with platforms or technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Kafka, cloud object storage, or enterprise MDM platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL, including multi-table queries, joins, filters, transformations, optimization, and validation checks.
- Fluency in at least one of Apex, Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript, with willingness to learn additional languages.
- Understanding of data modeling, APIs, integration patterns, batch and streaming processing, and copied, federated, and Zero Copy data access.
- Experience building AI retrieval systems involving vector databases, search indexes, embedding pipelines, or knowledge bases.
- Experience implementing secure service-to-service integrations, OAuth, SAML, event-driven architectures, MCP, and agent-to-agent communication.
- Ability to implement and rigorously test secure data access involving permissions, entitlements, consent, user context, restricted populations, and negative test cases.
- Ability to diagnose technical problems methodically, isolate product behavior from configuration errors, and document reproducible results.
- Ability to implement against documented architectures, communicate implementations to customer technical teams, and identify when architect or security-owner involvement is required.
- Experience delivering alongside customers, partners, professional services, or implementation teams in deadline-driven environments.
- Relevant certifications in Salesforce Agentforce, Data 360, and the Salesforce Platform are requested.

- The typical annual base salary range is EUR 88.200 to EUR 117,900, with a possible incentive component tailored by grade level.
