Data 360 - Principal Forward Deployed Engineer, Italian Speaking
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Configure and develop Data 360 solutions directly in customer sandboxes and production environments using SQL, Apex, Flow, Python, APIs, Salesforce DX, CLI, Git, Data Kits, and deployment tooling.
- Build ingestion, harmonization, identity resolution, data views, and integrations across batch and streaming sources while tuning latency, cost, and workload performance.
- Design and maintain RAG, vector database, search index, embedding, and knowledge-base integrations that ground Agentforce solutions in enterprise data.
- Implement MCP and agent-to-agent communication protocols and connect Agentforce with enterprise applications and specialized AI agents.
- Apply data management, governance, authentication, authorization, OAuth, SAML, message-queue, event-driven, and distributed-system patterns.
- Create test data, validate security and access behavior, troubleshoot ingestion, schema, identity, query, API, permissions, and activation issues, and document reproducible results.
- Support customer co-building, code and configuration reviews, deployment, production handoff, early stabilization, and reusable implementation assets.
- Surface reproducible platform gaps and edge cases to Product and Support with evidence and impact.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or technical implementation, including a production data solution that can be explained in detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Data 360/Data Cloud or a comparable enterprise data platform across ingestion, modeling, identity, insight, activation, and operations.
- Experience building data pipelines and integrations with at least one enterprise technology or platform such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Kafka, cloud object storage, or enterprise MDM.
- Proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, joins, filters, transformations, and validation checks.
- Fluency in at least one of Apex, Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript, with willingness to learn the others.
- Understanding of data modeling, APIs, integration patterns, batch and streaming processing, and copied, federated, and Zero Copy data access.
- Experience building AI retrieval systems using vector databases, search indexes, embedding pipelines, or knowledge bases, including chunking, indexing, and relevance decisions.
- Experience implementing secure service-to-service integrations using OAuth, SAML, and event-driven architectures, plus familiarity with MCP and agent-to-agent communication.
- Ability to implement and rigorously test secure data access involving permissions, entitlements, consent, user context, restricted populations, and negative test cases.
- Ability to diagnose technical problems methodically, distinguish product behavior from configuration errors, implement against documented architectures, and identify when architect or security-owner involvement is needed.
- Experience delivering alongside customers, partners, professional services, or internal implementation teams in deadline-driven environments.
- Relevant Salesforce Agentforce, Data 360, and Salesforce Platform certifications are expected or valued.
