Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support Workday Extend applications and Workday Orchestrations.
- Build data integration applications, APIs, system adapters, message flows, and compositions.
- Consult on integration requirements and provide technical advice on complex system design issues.
- Develop prototypes, proofs of concept, functional specifications, technical specifications, and test environments.
- Design integration strategies and maintain standards for enterprise data integrations.
- Conduct design reviews, code reviews, requirements workshops, QA activities, and automated testing.
- Prepare application support documentation, training materials, and implementation training.
- Design and develop custom software, application modules, integration solutions, and vendor application customizations.
- Analyze integration, security, scalability, and performance requirements.
- Manage small to medium-sized projects and related budgets.
- Provide technical expertise, coaching, consultation, and potential technical leadership to other staff.
- Maintain and support applications throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- In-depth knowledge of applications and the business requirements supporting them.
- Experience designing, developing, and implementing medium- to large-scale ERP applications and integrations, preferably with Workday.
- Experience with Workday Extend, Workday Orchestrate, enterprise application integration tools, ETLs, ESBs, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience with SOAP-based web services, RESTful APIs, data modeling, data mapping, data structures, and SQL.
- Working knowledge of Java, Groovy, Python, Perl, HTML, XML, JSON, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, CSS, and ZK Framework.
- Knowledge of SOAP/REST technologies, including XSD, XSLT, XPATH, WSDL, SOAP APIs, WS-*, JSON Schema, RAML/Swagger, RESTful APIs, and OAuth2.
- Experience with integration and database tools such as Oracle Data Integration Suite, MuleSoft AnyPoint Studio, Pentaho Data Integration Suite, Talend Data Integration Suite, Oracle RDBMS, MS SQL Server, and MySQL.
- Experience with ActiveMQ, JMS, STOMP, ServiceNow, Atlassian APIs, UiPath, or other automation and agentic tools.
- Knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design, UML, ORM frameworks, web application frameworks, source code management, version control, continuous integration and continuous deployment, test-driven design, and behavior-driven design.
- Project management skills and knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies, preferably Lean, XP, or Scrum.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, troubleshooting, requirements documentation, UML, and data-flow diagramming skills.
- Understanding of QA methodologies and automation for full-stack development.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms, change management, AI orchestration, AI agents, RAG, A2A, MCP, tool calling, and model training or fine-tuning.
- Hands-on experience building AI-enabled integrations using LLMs for search, summarization, and automated decision workflows.

- Monthly base compensation range of CAD $8,554.25 to $13,340.92.
