Responsibilities

  • Design and ship conversational, agentic console experiences for CloudFront, WAF, and Shield with visualization and observability.
  • Build skills, protocols, and tooling that allow AI agents to safely configure, observe, and optimize edge infrastructure.
  • Architect autonomous planning systems that decompose customer goals into validated, multi-service global infrastructure operations.
  • Develop proactive detection and recommendation engines for security gaps, performance issues, and configuration drift.
  • Integrate natural-language interaction with real-time telemetry and build Terraform modules and CDK patterns for infrastructure-as-code workflows.
  • Own features through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production operation, including on-call troubleshooting.
  • Establish engineering patterns, testing strategies, runbooks, and architectural standards; mentor engineers and participate in design and code reviews.
  • Collaborate with AI/ML, application security, observability, product, design, and partner teams.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems for reliability and scaling.
  • At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Programming experience in at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: 3+ years building complex software systems; AI/ML systems, LLM integration, or agent architecture experience; familiarity with MCP, function calling, autonomous agent frameworks, or AI orchestration; distributed systems at scale; CDN, networking, or security infrastructure; Terraform, CDK, automated deployment pipelines; React and TypeScript; and strong communication and technical-alignment skills.
