Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using TypeScript and tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or WebdriverIO.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing for enterprise applications.
  • Create reusable automation components, test cases, and test assets in collaboration with developers, testers, and product teams.
  • Support automated testing integration into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to testing cloud-native and distributed applications.
  • Conduct API validation, test data verification, defect analysis, production validation, and post-release testing.
  • Document test results, defects, risks, and remediation recommendations.
  • Use GenAI tools for test case creation, code generation, documentation, troubleshooting, and productivity improvements.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and follow engineering, security, accessibility, and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or software development.
  • Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Python, or C# through coursework, internships, personal projects, or professional experience.
  • Exposure to automated testing tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, WebdriverIO, or similar frameworks.
  • Understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile delivery, DevOps practices, API testing, test automation, and quality engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development tools.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies, CI/CD concepts, modern software delivery, and GenAI tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Reliability Clearance.
  • English proficiency is required for regular interaction with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada.
  • Preferred experience includes Postman or Insomnia, GitHub, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, performance testing, accessibility testing, security testing, quality monitoring, and relevant technical certifications or coursework.
