Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable features for enterprise management products.
- Lead complex projects to improve functionality and reliability.
- Collaborate with various teams across Toast.
- Contribute to the overall quality of the Android system.
- Build automated testing for changes to ensure quality.
- Monitor the success of rolled-out features.
- Work with UX and PM on feature definition and design.
- Mentor and coach other engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in developing and maintaining Android applications.
- Experience with backend services and APIs is a plus.
- Extensive experience with Java or Kotlin and understanding of testing and quality best practices.
- Experience shipping production services while balancing stability and reliability.
- Focus on delivering positive impact for customers.
- Enjoy working in a team environment with a shared code-base.
- Excellent cross-team communication skills on complex technical topics.
- Experience with Compose is a plus.
