Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain components of the software platform for attendance analytics and communication tools.
- Maintain and improve student and attendance data systems for performance and scalability.
- Develop new features to enhance product capabilities for schools and students.
- Automate operational and monitoring processes for system reliability.
- Optimize AWS infrastructure for performance and efficiency.
- Contribute to technical discussions and shape scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product needs into technical solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on scalable backend systems.
- Advanced proficiency in core stack technologies, including AWS tools like Terraform and ECS.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to stakeholders.
- Comfortable in ambiguous environments with a proactive mindset.
- Experience collaborating across teams to drive alignment and deliver shared goals.
- Experience in education or education technology is a plus.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) required.
