Base Salary
$170k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design high-performance, extensible application architecture for embedding Xometry AI into external PLM environments.
- Lead integration of production ML pipelines, optimized model serving, and real-time geometry analysis into the application layer.
- Establish security, data-governance, reliability, SLI/SLO, and multi-tenant deployment standards.
- Set technical direction across multiple products and teams while driving strategic initiatives through production deployment.
- Coordinate engineering groups at Xometry and its partner around ring-fenced data governance and partner-hosted or Xometry-hosted operations.
- Facilitate technical decisions, mentor engineers, and influence senior leadership and external partners on technology strategy.
Requirements
- 12+ years of professional software development experience with a history of scaling complex platforms.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python, AWS infrastructure, and modern frontend frameworks including React and NextJS.
- Experience shaping technical direction across multiple teams and establishing organizational engineering standards.
- Track record of gaining support for and delivering 6–12 month technical initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience with SaaS platforms, complex B2B integration hubs, manufacturing, logistics, CAD/PLM ecosystems, enterprise data controls, dedicated tenants, SOC2/ISO compliance, distributed ML platforms, or high-frequency marketplace engines.
