Base Salary
$168k - $183k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable user-facing features and backend services using React, TypeScript, and AWS.
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code using AWS CDK.
- Optimize application performance and build serverless and container-based cloud applications.
- Implement automated testing with Playwright and maintain code quality through reviews.
- Provide technical guidance to junior developers and drive adoption of best practices and new technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support Agile software development using DevOps practices and CI/CD.
- Understand customer business processes and solve complex technical problems with innovative solutions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of recent, strong hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS.
- Ideally 10+ years of experience building, testing, and managing web-based full-stack applications.
- Experience with AWS cloud services, serverless architecture, and infrastructure as code.
- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in computer science, systems engineering, information systems, or a similar field.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, learning, and technical leadership skills.
- Ability to travel 3–5 times per year to College Board offices or for business purposes.
- Authorization to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
