Base Salary

$175k - $245k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Assess customer software environments, lead integration discussions, and translate requirements into integration designs.
  • Design, develop, and validate API connectors between Karman and customer-specific data center software systems.
  • Validate server builds and create configuration checkers, test suites, and deployment verification processes.
  • Perform benchmark-driven and exploratory performance testing, debug integration and installation issues, and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Drive installation requirement checklists and customer engagement sign-off.
  • Automate integration processes and generate test frameworks, configuration checkers, integration artifacts, and deployment documentation.
  • Build repeatable integration processes, templates, standards, and documentation through a software integration playbook.
  • Maintain validation checklists, test plans, configuration guides, KPI trackers, and After-Action Reports.
  • Participate in roadmap meetings, design reviews, and sprint planning while translating customer deployment feedback into platform improvements.
  • Support escalated production incidents related to software installation and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in systems integration, application engineering, solutions engineering, platform engineering, or related technical roles supporting enterprise software deployments in data center environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field, or equivalent training and on-the-job experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux-based environments, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and validation.
  • Experience designing and implementing API integrations between disparate software systems, including REST APIs and other common integration patterns.
  • Experience with containerized and virtualized environments and customer deployment architectures.
  • Experience developing integration validation tools, configuration checks, test automation, or deployment verification processes.
  • Ability to develop scripts, automation, and integration tooling using Python or Rust.
  • Familiarity with APIs, messaging frameworks, and technologies such as REST, gRPC, Kafka, and Protobuf.
  • Strong communication skills and experience engaging customer operations teams and translating requirements into integration designs.
  • Ability to independently own complex technical problems end-to-end and learn across diverse customer software environments.
  • Experience integrating with DCIM platforms, hypervisors, or data center management APIs such as Redfish, IPMI, or vendor-specific interfaces.
  • Experience working directly with customers, stakeholders, or cross-functional technical teams on requirements gathering, solution design, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with data center observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana is preferred.
  • Experience building structured software integration processes, checklists, or validation frameworks is preferred.
  • Experience with GitOps-based deployment workflows such as ArgoCD and Helm is preferred.
