Responsibilities
- Build and improve established and emerging backend services for the Adtech Retention team.
- Develop reliable, scalable, high-concurrency systems used globally by thousands of people.
- Contribute to software architecture and communicate with engineers, product managers, partners, leaders, and other stakeholders.
- Implement RESTful and/or gRPC services and build and maintain microservices.
- Work iteratively by building, testing, learning from results, and refining solutions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with Golang and a strong foundational understanding of distributed systems and services.
- At least 2 years of experience working on software applications in agile environments.
- Hands-on experience implementing RESTful and/or gRPC services and building microservices with Kubernetes.
- Professional experience or familiarity with AWS or GCP and infrastructure management using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Helm.
- Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and software design, with a focus on high-quality code and automated testing.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and ownership skills.
- Nice-to-have familiarity with Drone, Spinnaker, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, distributed tracing, Kafka, PostgreSQL, ACID principles, indexing, event-driven architecture, BigQuery, and data pipelines.
