Responsibilities
- Onboard new clients and establish their pipelines and infrastructure automation end to end.
- Document system configurations, processes, and team tools.
- Ensure release management and change management processes are followed in production.
- Create and deploy CI/CD infrastructure collaboratively with development engineering.
- Develop environments for quality assurance, development, and other needs.
- Deploy and support applications in cloud and on-premises environments.
- Secure, scale, and improve the reliability of infrastructure and environments.
- Monitor system and application health and implement log collection, aggregation, and analysis solutions.
- Collaborate with developers to establish environments and DevOps best practices.
- Design, implement, and test agreed-upon frameworks while prioritizing requests across operations, development, and product teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5+ years of DevOps experience.
- Advanced knowledge of at least two of AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Advanced hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, and ArgoCD or similar technologies.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
- Advanced scripting skills in Bash, Python, PowerShell, and/or Ruby.
- Experience creating and deploying CI/CD infrastructure with Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, GitLab-CI, or AWS Code Pipeline.
- Advanced knowledge of Nginx and Apache web servers.
- Understanding of DevOps and GitOps practices, capacity planning, and cloud and on-premises deployment models.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools including New Relic, Datadog, CloudWatch, ELK, and Prometheus.
- AWS, Azure, or GCP professional-level certification and Kubernetes CKA certification are preferred.
- Strong documentation, problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
