Responsibilities

  • Design and ship product experiences from early concepts through polished production interfaces.
  • Work directly in the front-end codebase through pull requests, code reviews, testing, and release.
  • Build functional prototypes and define interaction patterns for AI agents, legal documents, citations, generated content, and multi-step workflows.
  • Translate design intent into reusable, responsive, accessible components and product patterns while applying WCAG standards.
  • Use customer feedback, research, analytics, and session replays to improve critical product experiences.
  • Maintain alignment between Figma, shared components, and the production experience.
  • Raise quality across visual design, typography, spacing, motion, microcopy, loading states, empty states, and edge cases.

Requirements

  • Strong experience designing and building sophisticated digital products in an equally design- and front-end-focused role.
  • Strong front-end fundamentals with TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
  • Fluency in Figma and confidence working in GitHub and production codebases.
  • Experience taking features from exploration and prototyping through release and iteration.
  • Exceptional visual design, interaction quality, product judgment, and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of responsive design, reusable components, scalable UI architecture, and WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Experience using AI tools as a meaningful part of the design and development process.
  • Strong collaboration, ownership, communication, and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Preferred experience with AI-native products, copilots, agents, generative interfaces, enterprise software, professional tools, document-heavy workflows, legal technology, research products, knowledge-management systems, design systems, or component libraries.
  • Familiarity with component tooling such as Storybook is preferred.
