Responsibilities

  • Develop application software for the IntelliSpace Portal medical imaging platform.
  • Analyze software and functional requirements and own high-level and detailed system design.
  • Implement, test, document, and perform unit testing for software components.
  • Contribute to features, user stories, software design specifications, and test strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance, participate in technical decisions, and coach project team members in technology and domain areas.
  • Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality work on schedule.
  • Participate in peer reviews and support estimation, planning, and risk management activities.
  • Work with verification, quality, regulatory, and project management functions to support project success.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience with a bachelor's degree in software development, software design and architecture, testing and quality assurance, or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on software development experience with C# and familiarity with .NET Core.
  • Experience with Angular or React, databases using SQL or NoSQL, web services, REST APIs, and distributed microservices architectures.
  • Experience processing large datasets in distributed applications using public clouds such as AWS or Azure, with emphasis on launch and interactive performance.
  • Experience developing containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or CloudFoundry.
  • Experience with third-party integrations, Linux, and incrementally migrating monolithic applications to microservices.
  • Experience designing software for elasticity, scalability, reliability, security, serviceability, and networking in public-cloud environments.
  • Strong software design skills, including microservices architecture, MVVM, and established design patterns.
  • Experience with memory management, multithreaded applications, debugging, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation.
  • Experience with Behavioral Driven Development and Test Driven Development.
  • Working experience with Agile or SAFe development methodologies and strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Preferred experience includes DICOM, HL7, FHIR, computer graphics, medical image processing, healthcare systems, and handling large image data.
  • Knowledge of software privacy and security rules and aspects.
