Responsibilities
- Design, write, test, implement, and document solutions for assigned program modules.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and business lines to estimate effort, timing, and feasibility.
- Design new systems from business requirements and optimize existing system and program functionality.
- Review coding for a group of software engineers for alignment with business needs, change-control procedures, and development standards.
- Support assigned programs and applications across the organization.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience with commonly used programming concepts, practices, and procedures.
- At least 4 years of experience building and interfacing with APIs and using JSON and XML formats.
- At least 4 years of application development experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML, and CSS.
- At least 4 years of experience with core Java concepts, object-oriented programming, generics, collections, multithreading, memory management, and data structures and algorithms.
- At least 4 years of experience with the Spring Boot ecosystem, RESTful APIs, SOAP services, microservices, dependency injection, and application lifecycle configuration.
- At least 4 years of experience with test-driven development, JUnit, Mockito, Git, and software design patterns.
- At least 4 years of experience building CI/CD pipelines, using Docker, and orchestrating applications with Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- At least 4 years of experience integrating databases and messaging systems, including Spring Data JPA, Kafka, Spring Security, and OAuth2.
- At least 4 years of experience in Agile environments and with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- At least 4 years of experience with object-relational mapping tools including Hibernate.
- Experience may be gained concurrently; the employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
