Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end architecture decisions for new features and services.
- Design and develop high-performance, scalable services using a cloud-first approach.
- Build and ship complex multi-service features with minimal oversight.
- Develop React/TypeScript frontends, backend services, AI agent pipelines, data and search systems, and platform infrastructure.
- Design scalable patterns for AI agent orchestration, data pipelines, and micro-frontends.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, observability, privacy, security, reliability, and operability practices.
- Mentor engineers, support their growth, and improve team velocity through tooling and best practices.
- Lead technical planning and help shape an AI-native development culture.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on React and TypeScript frontend development experience.
- Backend development experience with one or more of Python/FastAPI, Node.js, Java, Golang, or C++.
- Experience building applications with LLM APIs such as Claude or GPT and AI agent frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Ability to own development from idea and prototype through production across UI, API, database, and deployment.
- Understanding of cloud-native architectures, containers, orchestration systems, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with asynchronous patterns, task queues, message brokers, SQL, ORMs, vector databases, or graph databases.
- Experience with modern development practices including Git workflows, CI/CD, automated testing, code review, observability, security, and privacy.
- Active use of AI-assisted development tools, prompt engineering, code generation, and iterative refinement.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5–8+ years of software development experience, including at least two years in a senior or lead engineering role.
- Curiosity, proactive learning, experimentation, building, and continuous improvement.
