Responsibilities
- Own the technical win for supported Security deals through discovery, solution design, demos, and proof of value.
- Serve as the security architecture subject-matter expert for ransomware recovery, immutable and air-gapped vaulting, identity resilience, and DSPM.
- Design reference architectures and lead technical workshops, POCs, and pilots across regulated industries.
- Create account-specific solution briefs, architecture diagrams, executive narratives, and business cases.
- Understand customer technology footprints and support security partner ecosystem joint solutions and technical co-sell.
- Provide field feedback for the product roadmap and maintain accurate technical qualification and POC exit criteria.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of pre-sales engineering and security architecture experience.
- Hands-on experience designing or deploying ransomware-recovery architectures, immutable or air-gapped backup solutions, or identity-resilience systems.
- Strong infrastructure background in backup and recovery, storage, or hybrid cloud.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID architecture, ransomware kill chains, immutability, air-gapping, and zero trust.
- Scripting and API proficiency with Python and PowerShell for demos and POCs.
- Strong communication skills for technical and executive audiences and comfort working in a co-sell or specialist model.
- Preferred experience includes specialist or overlay SE/SA work at a data infrastructure, backup, or cybersecurity vendor.
- Preferred qualifications include technical relationships or competitive experience in backup, cyber resilience, or data security markets.
- Language capability relevant to the assigned territory, such as Japanese, Mandarin, or Bahasa, and business-level English, is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making.
