Responsibilities
- Own core systems, shared frameworks, critical infrastructure, and other high-leverage engineering work.
- Define and evolve architecture across multiple products to avoid long-term technical debt.
- Write and ship production code while improving reliability, performance, scalability, and engineering standards.
- Refactor abstractions and eliminate technical debt.
- Mentor engineers through code review, pairing, and direct feedback.
- Contribute to AI capabilities, including LLM pipelines and data infrastructure.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience solving difficult production engineering problems.
- Deep full-stack expertise with strong backend, API, and infrastructure skills, plus frontend capability when needed.
- Experience designing and evolving systems across multiple products and teams.
- Demonstrated ability to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability at scale.
- Experience with Docker, Azure, AWS, or GCP, and Terraform.
- Experience building or integrating AI systems, LLMs, or large-scale data pipelines is preferred.
- Hands-on technical leadership and mentoring experience.
Benefits
- Annual salary range of 80,000 to 130,000 EUR.
- On-site, full-time in-person work in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
