Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of software features and system improvements from concept through deployment.
Define architecture decisions for backend, frontend, and cloud infrastructure systems to support scalability and performance.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications with cross-functional teams.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
Ensure software quality, testing, maintainability, documentation, training, and knowledge transfer.
Identify technical risks, develop mitigation strategies, and recommend tools, technologies, and processes.
Support Agile development activities including sprint planning, estimation, and iterative delivery.

Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an associate's degree and 8+ years, or a high school diploma/GED and 12+ years.
At least 4 years of software and application development experience, including 2+ years in a classified and air-gapped environment.
IAT Level II certification is required.
Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
Knowledge of classified and unclassified system architecture, data structures, algorithms, software deployment, hardware configuration, networking, and security engineering.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; CI/CD practices; Java or .NET; Python; JavaScript; TypeScript; React or Angular; CSS; relational databases; ETL; DevSecOps; and cloud workflow automation.
Experience with Windows, Linux, and macOS, as well as networking systems, network hardening, vulnerability management, STIGing, RMF, and ATO lifecycle practices.
Preferred ability to successfully pass background and drug screening.
