Base Salary

$176k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of software features and system improvements from concept through deployment.
  • Define architecture decisions for backend, frontend, and cloud infrastructure systems to support scalability and performance.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure software quality, testing, maintainability, documentation, training, and knowledge transfer.
  • Identify technical risks, develop mitigation strategies, and recommend tools, technologies, and processes.
  • Support Agile development activities including sprint planning, estimation, and iterative delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an associate's degree and 8+ years, or a high school diploma/GED and 12+ years.
  • At least 4 years of software and application development experience, including 2+ years in a classified and air-gapped environment.
  • IAT Level II certification is required.
  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Knowledge of classified and unclassified system architecture, data structures, algorithms, software deployment, hardware configuration, networking, and security engineering.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; CI/CD practices; Java or .NET; Python; JavaScript; TypeScript; React or Angular; CSS; relational databases; ETL; DevSecOps; and cloud workflow automation.
  • Experience with Windows, Linux, and macOS, as well as networking systems, network hardening, vulnerability management, STIGing, RMF, and ATO lifecycle practices.
  • Preferred ability to successfully pass background and drug screening.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
