Base Salary
$125k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop requirements and technical solutions for complex data needs with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain, support, and enhance existing systems and platforms, including internally developed data migration tools.
- Debug and troubleshoot production issues with engineers in the field.
- Provide occasional after-hours support for scheduled production deployments.
- Provide Program and Product Managers with reliable time and effort estimates for technical deliverables.
- Provide technical and functional guidance and support to other team members.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 1 year of Python experience.
- At least 3 years of experience working with data in relational databases.
- Experience developing in a Unix environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred experience with Postgres, Docker, Kubernetes, Bash scripting, event-driven processing, message brokers, real-time data architectures, Git, Jira, DevOps processes, relational data modeling, agile environments, data migrations, and agentic AI agents.
- DoD 8570 Level II or Level III certification, such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP, is preferred.
- Top Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one is preferred.
