Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python-based services, APIs, integration layers, customer-specific logic, connectors, and automations.
- Build data ingestion, transformation, and validation pipelines supporting AI/ML workflows.
- Integrate ML pipelines, LLM components, retrieval systems, RAG pipelines, embedding workflows, and NLP modules into customer environments.
- Collaborate with ML Engineers to productionize models and optimize performance.
- Configure and deploy implementation services on Azure, AWS, or GCP while ensuring reliability, observability, and performance.
- Troubleshoot production issues, analyze logs, and perform root-cause analysis.
- Translate customer requirements into technical specifications and own end-to-end technical implementation for enterprise accounts.
- Provide architecture and implementation guidance, participate in code reviews, document workflows and troubleshooting playbooks, mentor junior team members, and contribute to internal tooling and automation.
- Scope work, sequence delivery, remove blockers, make scope-speed-quality trade-offs, and codify reusable working patterns.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience and at least 2 years of Python coding experience.
- Strong understanding of backend fundamentals, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Experience with APIs, FastAPI, Flask, Django, and RESTful architectures.
- Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, cross-functional collaboration, and delivery skills.
- Preferred experience with AI/ML/NLP pipelines, LLMs, RAG-based applications, Java, text processing, or agentic implementations.
- Preferred knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, container orchestration, Kafka, RabbitMQ, CI/CD tools, and automation frameworks.
- Startup or scale-up experience, open-source contributions, or technical writing experience are advantageous.
