Base Salary
$228k - $304k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and run the cross-company Data Intelligence Platform for business and product metrics.
- Develop tooling and infrastructure for managing Databricks at scale across multiple clouds.
- Partner with engineering teams to define long-term vision and requirements for Databricks products.
- Build reliable data pipelines and solve data problems using Databricks and other tools.
- Represent Databricks at academic and industrial conferences.
Requirements
- AI first mindset to drive high-impact initiatives.
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 15+ years of industry experience in large-scale distributed systems.
- 6+ years of experience in technical leadership for production data systems.
- Experience leading architecture efforts for performance-sensitive systems.
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Strategic mindset to align engineering execution with company goals.
- Passion for mentoring and developing other engineers.
