Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage secure, reliable, scalable multi-cloud infrastructure using AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Develop infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Implement SRE practices covering reliability, availability, performance, error budgets, SLIs, SLOs, and incident management.
- Build and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, capacity-planning, and demand-forecasting systems.
- Deploy, manage, and scale applications with Kubernetes and Helm.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and automation tools for application and infrastructure delivery.
- Apply cloud security and compliance practices, including regular audits and assessments.
- Drive architecture and technical direction for high-impact platform capabilities.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with developers, product managers, operations, and other stakeholders.
- Improve operational excellence through automation, monitoring, reliability improvements, disaster readiness, and cloud cost optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, site reliability engineering, or related roles.
- Strong experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, and cloud-native services.
- Proficiency with Terraform, Helm, and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.
- Experience with AIOps.
- Experience with SRE principles, including error budgets, SLIs, SLOs, and incident management.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and GCM.
- Expertise building and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Harness.
- Strong coding skills in Python, Go, or similar languages, and familiarity with Git.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure and application security best practices.
- Experience with ISO 27001, SOC 2, or PCI DSS is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
