Responsibilities

  • Architect, implement, and manage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for data and analytics workloads.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines across Azure, AWS, GCP, and on-premises platforms.
  • Integrate automated testing, code quality checks, vulnerability scanning, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, Groovy, PowerShell, and cloud CLI tools.
  • Maintain Git and SVN repositories and enforce branching and code-quality standards.
  • Automate data workflows and deployments across Azure Data Lake, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Deploy and manage Databricks clusters, notebooks, and jobs.
  • Support migration and modernization of legacy data platforms to Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
  • Apply cloud security, identity and access management, network security, data governance, and compliance practices.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and platform performance using observability tools.
  • Design and implement DevOps, monitoring, SRE, provisioning, and multi-cloud operations solutions.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, customers, business stakeholders, and offshore teams.
  • Identify client-fit software packages, develop RFPs, and assist with proposal evaluation.
  • Foster teamwork, lead by example, mentor others, and participate in organization-wide people initiatives.

Requirements

  • BE/B.Tech/MCA and 6–8 years of sound industry experience.
  • Strong Azure and multi-cloud computing knowledge, with Azure as the primary platform.
  • Hands-on experience setting up CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Deep experience with Azure Data Lake, Databricks including Spark and Delta Lake, and Microsoft Fabric workloads.
  • Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including AKS, EKS, or GKE.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, Groovy, Shell scripting, and cloud-native CLI tools.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
  • Understanding of data governance, cloud security, compliance, cloud architecture, and modern data platforms.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, observability, containerization, and application automation.
  • Ability to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective architectures and implement sustainable automated systems.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate project risks, communicate effectively, solve problems, and work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to lead or support teams, mentor colleagues, manage offshore communication, and deliver client solutions.
  • Preferred certifications include Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Infrastructure Solutions, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate, Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate, HashiCorp Terraform Associate, and Databricks Data Engineer certifications.
  • Experience with GenAI technologies, data-platform integration, Terraform Cloud, and Ansible Tower is preferred.
  • Agile/Scrum knowledge, strong written and oral communication, and willingness to travel are expected.
