Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and implementation for multiple capabilities within the AI-native Kubernetes platform.
- Serve as a technical leader and domain expert across multiple teams.
- Develop innovative technology solutions and influence technical and product direction.
- Create technical documentation and root-cause analyses, and identify and address business risks.
- Drive customer-focused design and development.
- Lead by example in codebase contributions and innovation.
- Mentor and assess engineers while fostering an inclusive technical team.
- Lead multiple engineering teams comprising 10 to 35 engineers and guide technical design, architecture, and code reviews.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Considerable Kubernetes expertise, especially with Amazon EKS, operator patterns, Kubernetes clients, controllers, shared informers, and caching mechanisms.
- Proficiency in Golang and extensive AWS experience.
- Ability to lead multiple engineering teams of 10 to 35 engineers.
- Experience leading technical design, architecture, and code reviews.
- Ability to simplify technical designs and operations.
- Track record of operational excellence and process and design innovation.
- Commitment to improving and expanding team skills and knowledge.
