Responsibilities
- Design, implement, operate, and troubleshoot secure, highly available infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and OCI.
- Manage cloud networking, VPC/VCN design, DNS, routing, load balancing, IAM, and governance services.
- Build reusable Infrastructure as Code modules and self-service infrastructure frameworks using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Automate provisioning, configuration management, compliance, patching, access management, and operational workflows with Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Implement and support enterprise IAM, SSO, federation, authentication, authorization, MFA, and user provisioning.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows Server environments, including hardening, patching, monitoring, and upgrades.
- Support production incident response, root cause analysis, vulnerability remediation, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Establish multi-cloud architecture standards, best practices, procedures, and reusable platform components.
- Mentor engineers and act as a technical subject matter expert for cloud and platform engineering initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering.
- At least 3 years of technical leadership or people leadership experience.
- Strong production experience with at least two major cloud platforms, preferably AWS, GCP, and OCI.
- Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong Linux and Windows administration experience.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, firewalls, load balancing, proxies, and TLS/SSL.
- Experience with enterprise IAM and modern authentication technologies.
- Strong scripting and automation experience using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, cloud security, and complex production troubleshooting.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS Solutions Architect, AWS SysOps, AWS Security Specialty, GCP, or OCI certifications.
- Experience with Kubernetes platforms, enterprise cloud landing zones, AWS Control Tower, Organizations, SCPs, governance frameworks, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Harness, and large-scale multi-account, multi-cloud environments.
