Base Salary
$147k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead integration and verification of Android, Linux, QNX, and subsystem modules.
- Develop understanding of BSP-level components, embedded hardware platforms, and their functionality.
- Support failure and root-cause analysis for testing and development teams.
- Create test strategies for subsystem modules on benches and vehicles.
- Convert manual testing activities to automated testing where possible.
- Maintain and execute automation test scripts for platform features.
- Bridge software development and vehicle integration teams.
- Collaborate across teams to maintain a tight feedback loop.
- Manage traceability of test coverage from requirements through validation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or greater in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience integrating and testing automotive embedded subsystems or similar consumer electronics devices.
- Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment software development models.
- Solid understanding and experience with RTOS and POSIX-based embedded systems, including one or more of Linux, Android, or QNX.
- Experience debugging Ethernet and CAN communications using industry-standard tools.
- Experience developing configuration, measurement, and testing scripts using Python within a test automation framework.
- Experience with audio, video, graphics subsystems, and peripherals is highly desired.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment and collaborate effectively with teams.
- Passion for taking software from development through verified product delivery.
