Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain backend applications and services using C# and .NET on Microsoft Azure.
- Build scalable APIs, Azure Functions, and cloud-native services.
- Troubleshoot existing codebases, implement enhancements, and resolve application defects, performance issues, and operational incidents.
- Build and maintain integrations with databases, messaging systems, and other platform components.
- Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and software development processes.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment activities, and production monitoring.
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and engineering teams to deliver solutions.
- Follow engineering practices for code quality, testing, security, and documentation while developing Azure expertise.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with C# and .NET, with .NET 6+ preferred.
- Familiarity with ASP.NET Core Web APIs and backend service development.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, and Service Bus.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle practices, source control, and CI/CD concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, collaborative working ability, and good verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Azure DevOps, Git, deployment pipelines, Entity Framework Core, RESTful API design, event-driven architectures, messaging technologies, Docker, regulated industries, distributed systems, AI/ML-enabled applications, data pipelines, or analytics platforms.
